Aircraft Rate: $110 per hour, $100 per hour in 10 hour blocks.
Flight Instruction $45 per hour. Ground Instruction $25 per hour.
What does it cost to get a Private Pilot License?
This is the most common question asked. The answer differs for each student. The FAA minimum and national average for flight time needed to complete the Private Pilot License are shown below. Note, these prices reflect our low rates.
Private Pilot (FAA minimum time)
40 hrs flight time, $4000 (at the block discount)
20 hrs flight instruction, $900
Study materials and software, $200
Written test, $150
Flight check ride, $500

70 hrs flight time, $7000
30 hrs flight instruction, $1350
5 hrs ground instruction, $125
