Charnell Bearer - President
Charnell has worked 30+ years as an Executive Assistant in the corporate, law enforcement and educational spectrums, and also has experience in Human Resources. As a wife of a pilot and proud mom of two sons that are working their way through the world of flight training, she has a passion for helping others gain their wings. She is a true believer in supporting growth and development, and in addition to her time spent with Bearer Aviation, she is working on getting her Bachelor's Degree.
Ron Bearer, Ph.D. - Vice President
Ron Bearer was the original founder of Spaceport Aviation, selling the company to fly for the airlines in 2015. An Embry Riddle graduate, with a background in building airplanes, aerobatic competition, and flight instruction. Today Ron is a captain on the Airbus A220 at Breeze Airways and still enjoys the excitement of general aviation.
Brandon Bearer
Brandon, a fourth-generation pilot, is working towards his commercial license and assists with company operations.
Charlie Bearer
Charlie is a recent graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. He is a certified A & P Mechanic and maintains the company aircraft and maintenance schedules.
David Deckman
David, a fourth-generation pilot, is working towards his certified flight instructor license and assists with company operations. He has also assisted with pilot check outs and maintenance scheduling. David has extensive tail wheel experience flying Luscombe 8A, Piper Cub, and a PA22 Super Pacer.
Lloyd Justo - CFI, CFII, MEI
Lloyd is an avid flyer and experienced survey pilot in a Cessna 310 and Caravan. He earned a BS in Psychology from University of Florida. Lloyd is our primary CFI and also provides airplane checkouts in our aircraft. Not only is Lloyd a flight instructor, he is also available to split time and build hours with fellow pilots. Lloyd is looking forward to sharing the skies with you!
Joshua Torres - CFI
Josh was born and raised in the US. He served in the Marines for 12 years before deciding to dive into the pilot side of aviation. Josh attended ATP for his Private, Instrument, Commercial Single Engine, and Commercial Multi Engine. Then, he continued his training at Midwest Corporate Air where he received his CFI. Josh is very motivated to help our students succeed before anything else.
